This is such a calming, classical, beautiful doorway and you’ve photographed it beautifully. I would love this on notecards (hint-hint: submit it to Hallmark or someone!). Kudos!

This is what I expect to see in Washington, and what I would expect a resident to photograph, even the colour is in keeping. Cool, conservative and traditional. Good choice.

We visited my daughter in DC last weekend and spent some time in Alexandria. It was very nice as your photo shows.

I like that you choose B&W for this photo – it adds to the “old” look. That is a lot of brick!
