Green Spring Gardens

Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria consists of 5 acres of gardens, a horticulture center, a visitor center, and an 18th century house which is the venue of art exhibits. Green Spring offers a variety of educational programs for adults and children, including guided tours followed by English afternoon tea in the garden. I’ve never done that, but it sounds lovely.

Danafaye and Tanty — thank you for stopping by and commenting. I always enjoy strolling in this garden.

Marie McC — On pourrait y aller ensemble si tu veux –quand je n’ai plus le plâtre à (sur?) la jambe!

Alice — Il faut seulement que tu viennes à Washington!

Hi Passante! Just wondering why aren’t there any flowers there?

  7. Passante says:

Anne — There are some areas that are devoted to flowers and others where the idea is to show that you can have color and variety just with different shapes and colors of leaves.
