And on the right

Here’s the other side of yesterday’s shop entrance.

Very whimsical! Did you find out yet what the shop sells? Like the shades of blue and gray. PS. Now when I click on your photos to enlarge them, I’m linked immediately to some advertising. I’m assuming this is intentional?

    Kate —

I deliberately don’t put larger images on my blog because I occasionally do photography commercially and I don’t want any chance that someone would be able to download and use my images. Of course, they still can and put them on Web sites, but they aren’t close to large enough files to print. Yes, it’s probably a slim risk and I am probably overestimating the interest of these images, but several years ago I shot a book cover, pro bono, for a nonprofit organization, which then tried to use it on other things. That is illegal because I had not assigned them the copyright—but it cost me $500 in legal fees to convince them. Once bitten …

So the photos default to Photobucket, which is where I store my image files. But I don’t like it and I’ll have to find out how to do it otherwise on WordPress. I just haven’t taken the time yet.

As this photo was downloading onto my monitor, seeing the colors all together made me gasp. So beautiful! Then I started to piece the scene together. I much prefer this side to yesterday’s. A very nice shot.
