Professional printing of magazines, posters, books, and so on, uses the basis of four colors of ink—cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (known as CMYK) to produce full color pictures.

Our monitors used three colors to achieve the same full color effect—red, green, and blue (known as RGB).

When I saw this house and gate in Alexandria, Virginia, I thought of the pictures photographers use to calibrate their computer monitors!
